Swain’s Lake is clean and crystal-clear, and fishing is taken really seriously at Barrington Shores! A combination of coves and structure have created an outstanding habitat for largemouth and smallmouth bass. Trophy-sized catches have been consistently recorded over the years, and there is an exceptional opportunity for you to catch a record! We offer boat docks for our campers, as well as a convenient boat launching area. We even have canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, and rowboats available for rental. We will once again be offering a Fishing Derby this season, with noted Bass Master Jim Orrok.
The state has designated Swain’s Lake as a personal watercraft free lake. Barrington Shores does not permit any jet-propelled watercraft on campground property.
