Family Activities & Weekend Events
At the heart of Barrington Shores is our vibrant community and traditional camping activities. Each year, we curate a schedule designed to bring neighbors together on the shores of Swains Lake.
During our Peak Season (mid-June through Labor Day), weekdays are generally a time for quiet relaxation by the lake, though we keep the kids busy with morning Arts & Crafts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The energy picks up on Friday evenings with campground favorites like Bingo and Trivia. Saturdays are our main event, featuring family activities during the day and Live Entertainment in the evening, followed by Sunday morning crafts to wrap up the weekend.
In addition to our weekly schedule, we look forward to major seasonal traditions. Our campers love participating in the annual Swain's Lake Boat Parade on July 4th, and joining us for our own themed events including Christmas in July and our famous Halloween celebration in August!
